MSI Laptop - H3RR3S - 04-25-2019

So I own a MSI laptop which I ordered from a webshop in the Netherlands. It was purchased on 7 september 2018 for 1500 EUR.
Would it be possible if I contact MSI, claiming the battery was leaking and I threw the laptop away to prevent danger? Will this work?

well, it may or may not work because of the age of the laptop. they might tell you to replace the battery.

The upside Is, the lappy Is still under warranty, hence you have every right to submit a claim.

Lithium-ion batteries are known to catch fire, so tell them that your laptop did exactly that (caught fire) and you Immediately threw It out. Also say that the table on which It was sitting on, was damaged and ask whether they'll compensate you for that. Mentioning damage to the table, gives you the upper hand over their Incapacity to provide you with a safe and functional Item.
