Any ideas to bypass address verification? - db8803 - 04-13-2019 Sooo, after 4 years and 50+ refunds my first and legit Amzn account was locked. I don‘t live in a country where they sell gift cards in the stores, so it‘s difficult for me to get them (mainly asking friends from germany to buy them for me). The problem is when i create another account with the same credentials (name, address, CC number) and place a higher amount order, they lock my account and the want me to verify my address and cc number. When i place small orders 20-30€ there is no problem. They ship them to me no questions asked. Do you guys think if i make 3-4 small amount orders 20-30€ then slowly go higher 60-80€ and then go over 100€, this could bypass the security of the site? Another thing is that i have access to my account and orders in the Amz app on my phone. I can contact them, create a return label, view my orders, but i can‘t access my account thru web browser. Any ideas, hints would be appreciated. Best Regards RE: Any ideas to bypass address verification? - MrSamuel - 04-15-2019 I’m guessing you’re using a random billing address? Or why are they asking for address verification? They looked my first account a long time ago and I don't even think I had more than a few refunds lol RE: Any ideas to bypass address verification? - mothered - 04-16-2019 Quote:Do you guys think if i make 3-4 small amount orders 20-30€ then slowly go higher 60-80€ and then go over 100€, this could bypass the security of the site? No. The amount (cost) In purchasing, Is Immaterial- It's your actual "account" that's been flagged, Irrespective of orders placed. But how do you explain, that i had no problem placing these orders and they were delivered to me. And when I placed an order for around 200€ they wanted me to verify my address and CC number? This could be for a number of reasons, predominantly being Inundated with processing refunds/replacements due to not enough manpower (staff) to handle the Influx of requests. This might be a dumb question since you have so many refunds but did you try with altering your addrss with special characters? I could change the address, but how can i change the name on the card? They check the billing details with the bank. And that is the problem, when i send them the verification they want and they see the name and the address, they close the account. I guess my only option is to use gift cards. |
