Wrong item received method. Question - MrSamuel - 12-04-2018 Hey guys, just wanted to clarify before I commit to any SE. When SEing amazon with the wrong item received method, does the return item have to be SOLD and DISPATCHED by them or can it be an item that is only FULFILLED by them? RE: Wrong item received method. Question - db8803 - 12-04-2018 To be honest, I have never SE'd items which are not sold by Amazon. Somehow it does't feel good knowing that you took something from a normal guy who is trying to make a living, not a multi billion company. Just my opinion ... RE: Wrong item received method. Question - mothered - 12-04-2018 You're SEing Amazon Itself, so It's a given Item In their Inventory that your wrong Item Is based on. RE: Wrong item received method. I think you’ve misunderstood my question. I’m planning to buy an item sold by amazon say an Xbox one. Using the wrong item received method, I would need another item with similar weight to return to them as the “wrong item” they sent me. My question is, when looking for the wrong item to purchase, does this item have to be sold by amazon or can it just be fulfillled by them? Also in this case the smaller company would be making money as I’d be purchasing their product in order to return it in place of my primary order which was sold by amazon. So in other words it has to be sold by them. No problem, just wanted to make sure! Thanks! RE: Wrong item received method. One last thing, how closely weighted do the items have to be without arousing suspicion? ( just a rough estimation would help as I know it differs from case to case) Having trouble finding a return item that weighs exactly the same RE: Wrong item received method. Correct. As long as they stock It, you can use the wrong Item received method. RE: Wrong item received method. Is there a way to know how much your parcel weighed at consignment leaving the amazon warehouse? Or is that only known to amazon and the courier and you’d have to physically weigh your parcel when it arrives to find out. Any ideas? RE: Wrong item received method. They weigh and dispatch It, so you have no knowledge of that. What your concern Is the weight of the "Item", namely when using the wrong Item received method. |
