Lenovo - Nutany - 10-29-2018 Hey guys! So I basically SEd Lenovo with @vanfuzy method, now I'm supposed to send the monitor back, I already got it and the documents are on the front of the box. They haven't contacted me yet. You think they will? What would you do if they contact me? RE: Lenovo - toonblue - 10-29-2018 (10-29-2018, 12:27 AM)Lucas1543 Wrote: Hey guys! As I explained in discord you have a few options. 1. Ghost them. Simply never answer, you have your monitor - Why care? What do they want a dead monitor for? 2. Act very busy, schedule a collection then simply never answer the door and claim that they didn't even send someone to collect it. Then if they try to rearrange simply say you cannot as you're very busy. 3. Just box them with some bricks or something. Yeah for a monitor that probably isn't even 0.0000001% of their yearly earnings. I doubt it. Yeah, sounds logical, maybe I'm lucky and they won't even write me. RE: Lenovo - mothered - 10-29-2018 It's not my Intention to put fear Into the equation, but I have known cases where companies have called their debt collectors to collect outstanding debts. That said, In this case, It's extremely unlikely any action will be taken for an Item of this value. Even if that happens, I can still just not open the door right? Off course, however you're never off-the-books. Debt collection agencies don't simply forget about a case If no one's home. Even If It takes years, they will catch up with you and where warranted, accumulated Interest must also be paid. Even if it came to that stage (which is kind of unlikely right?) I can still try get out of it, if they won't let me keep the monitor so be it. RE: Lenovo - katski - 10-29-2018 I know lenovo was getting hit for laptops recently, maybe its empty box or dna? But I don't think they'll sell your 2-300 debt to collectors. |
