[HELP] Logitech SE - Jimbo39238 - 09-28-2018

Everyone claims Logitech is really easy, and it always comes from someone based in the US and it for sure is for them. However for us Australian noobs it seems to be much more difficult.

On multiple occassions I've tried SE'ing Logitech, different numbers, IP, names everything. Done thorough research on the product and created a whole character, basically well prepared. However am yet to pass. Have tried both smaller/cheaper products such as the MX Master and also the G29. What are your experiences with Logitech AU? I would like to give the G29 a crack again but feel am just gonna fail again.

I did think about doing it in the US, sending it to a freight forwarder to Australia. Shopandship was the cheapest and it was $102 AUD. That is 1/3 of the price of the G29 in AU but still don't want to spend that much.

RE: [HELP] Logitech SE - buzuki - 09-28-2018

I am based in UK, and just completed a G933 SE. I started the case a week from now and basically said there was no audio from the left ear cup. Now I did this through calling US tech support on fireRTC basically saying: "Hello, I have an European case that id love if you could look into" etc, until eventually you get someone on the line to say yes I will. from there you just say ye still doesn't work etc you know. and what they did for me was endorse the case to the UK team because they were saying yes its a defective product etc.

Now when it gets to the UK team (i dont know how it would be for you, but id guess similar) i had 3 cases turn up with that they need video proof, photo proof or it to be sent back, but on the G933 I got an email back just wanting my address, then woke up to them saying a replacement request has been submitted.

I think for most cases it wont work, but I aint no major SE guy, only just started! hope it helped somehow lol

UK is quite easy. The only time it didn't work was when someone had already registered the serial on their account

Oh yeah, that's a good idea. Will give it a shot, thanks Tongue

On what grounds did Logitech dismiss your claim for a replacement/refund, and what methods did you use that led to unsuccessful outcomes?

Sharing and elaborating your experience, will help us understand what went wrong.

They did offer a replacement, however they insisted on giving a return label for me to send mine back, get it inspected then send the replacement one to me.

My method was through opening a case via Logitech's site (after registering my product) then calling them. My story was based on an eSport player (also a student) who is dependent on tournament winnings and has a tournament this week coming up.

They offered me two possible pathways I could take. Send them the proof of purchase in which when verified they would refund me the amount via MoneyGram. The other way was the typical return replacement procedure.

PS: I'm more than happy to share more of my experience so if you have any questions, let me know.

RE: [HELP] Logitech SE - QWERTYUIOP - 09-29-2018

Also, an Australian looking for help with Logitech se, I had tried a g910 and it was going well. I looked up bad reviews and found it was quite common for a few specific keys to stop working (i forget what ones they are now). The se was going well til at the very end they asked for me to send it back.

Well, I used this method (eplayer and tournament up-head and very worried for this) and it went smooth, provide the valid Pictures with SN/PNs. They didn't told me to send the item back and issue the replacement. I am from ASIA. This whole process take ~2 week due to slow responses.

Will be trying again with the same s/n this week. Will update the post.
