I'm sure Chris Rock will have some choice words when he gets around to discussing what happened more, but at the same time I doubt he wants Will Smith to lose his career. It seems like an apology and resigning from the academy wasn't enough, the public wants his career destroyed. It's a bit excessive.

I really feel like this is the correct answer. I'm pretty sure that most people have moved on anyway and Chris doesn't really hate Will. In my opinion, it would be a pretty stupid reason to hold a grudge.

It happened more than four months ago, people had a laugh or a seethe over it, and then it never happened again. It's probably better if they all move on.
