what method to use for gravis.de #1
Planning to do my first big SE. Ordered a MBP on gravis.de and its going to get delivered by dhl on monday.
Ill probably have to sign when I receive the parcel. Should I still claim DNA?
WIR doesnt really work since all of the items they sell with similar weight are too expensive.
Thought about claiming that the macbook packaging had looked manipulated and instead of containing a mb there was a metal plate in its place.
Any advice especially from our almighty @mothered would be much appreciated

Easy EB or FTID should work for Gravis

DHL is a pain in the ass, EB won't work, better with FTID or even LIT if they cover lost packages during returns.

How so?

Never had any problem with DHL and EB if you especially state that the package was in perfect condition, not opened nor damaged.

but they weigh the package don't they? Why state that the package is in perfect condition? Wouldn't it be better fucking up the parcel a bit and implying the content got stolen during transit?

If you state that the package was in perfect condition, it's not the courier's responsability.

i'm not sure but i think that DHL weights packages before sending them out for delivery, they won't deliver it if it's empy. So in case of an investigation, they won't refund most of the time (depends on location).

Are they liable for lost shipments?

Yeah thought so. What are your thoughts on replacing the mb with a piece of metal with similarly weight and claiming the seals were a bit "funky" but looked intact and implying its a resealed return?

They'll most likely refer to their accounts department and see that It wasn't previously Invoiced.
