I'd say It's referring to fear of drowning.

Due to a bad experience, I was very similar at a young age for many years. Once my confidence built, I was fine.

Everyone has for sure experienced that.
If this chick didn't save me when I was young, I for sure wouldn't be here and, this was in a swimming pool (Public). After that, I went to swimming lessons but still to this day, I even was close to drowning due to being caught in a rip. #HospitalTime. Bad memories :/

Drowning and not able to see what is underneath me.
If I am at the beach and the water comes to my chest, I will not go any further.

I fear death. I understand that it's the natural way of life but it's something that I don't want to experience. Losing loved ones and even thinking about my own in however many decades. It's truly something scary, imagining what life would be like without certain people. One day you wake up and they're gone.

Absolutely agree.

There's nothing worse In life, than losing those closest to you. The older you get, the greater the thought of dying plays on your mind.
