FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT! Biggrin
Have patience, and trust me, its not just 'use phishing', 'Hack user', its mid-complicated, and hacking knowledge isn't much required, brain is required.
I'm sure you won't like it ... (froox) :!

Why are you sure that I won't like it? Oo And what fight?
Anyway, the topic is already public, so I'm asking what I'm interested in and suggesting what I can suggest :3

Cool.
You know, you can make short but HQ posts, it won't take much db space...

Just implying, you should use your friendly/nice side, if there's any. You don't have to post it to look like shit. Use - Maybe, Nice, What, Why... Use Smileys Smile

(was joking about 'FIGHT, FIGHT...,thought it was obvious...)

What's with that? Length doesn't indicate if the post is HQ or not, if there's a lot of information that you can include, then it will be longer, if there's not, it will be shorter. I highly doubt that writing longer posts will cause HC to run out of space.

I am friendly/neutral. I don't post to make it look bad, that's not even possible, since no information about it was actually provided and even if it was, I only do constructive criticism based on facts and experience. That's what I was giving now as well a constructive and supported statements and questions with the intention to help you, since I have quite a lot experience with game design and promotion. I use words based on how they fit and what I want to express, I'm not particularly fond of sugar-coating everything for no reason.

There's a nice rule in the netiquette - always assume good intent, it prevents a lot of trouble. Keep discussions at certain level and refrain from personal comments or even insults, as it tends to derail the topic.

Now to my question again: Can you tell me why do you think that I won't like it please? It makes me kinda curious on what are you basing this assumption.

Your usertitle, you can change that irl.

I know you for a pretty long time, my ''predictions''are based on facts. I don't want to go into personal stuff, enough off-topic.
Weird by default? You chose that. Its not default.

1llusion: Can you rather separate it into a topic please? Even with this post and the offtopic ones above, as these don't have anything to do with the game anymore, but it would be weird to start topic without the former posts, as it would miss the context. I'll answer here with the premise that it will be separated.

Dawnc0re: Huh? That usertitle comment doesn't make any sense... First, why would I change it, I like it that way. Secondly, why are you taking it so seriously, it's supposed to be rather silly. It makes as much sense as if I said that your title is wrong, because you're not standardized part of the .NET framework.

And no, I don't think that's something that people simply choose, people are born and influenced in certain way, some are for example introverts, some are extroverts, some are left handed, some are right handed, they don't really choose one or the other, they're simply that way and if you try to force them to be different, it's not going to end in a good way. And I was always very weird and different from my childhood.

However, it holds sort of a thought/word play, a meaning that cannot be comprehended by taking it literally, a meaning that you obviously missed. By saying "weird by default", I'm implying my passion with weirdness and weird and different things, that it's something so prominent, that it's an implicit and natural way of doing and viewing things. So yes, I can say it is default.

Also... I'm sorry, but you don't really know me, we didn't interact enough for you to really get to know me. For example if you did, you would probably know that I don't like such "predictions", so just let me see it and make my own opinion, okay? :3

Can't wait for you to express your opinions of released game.

My posts weren't meant to insult you. Most of the time its annoying to see that kind of useless criticism. (useless, coz you criticised that its stupid for closed alpha testers to comment. )

Wrong. I never said that it's stupid for closed alpha testers to comment, please don't put words into my mouth that I haven't said. Also it's quite rude to actually call the constructive criticism/advices/suggestions useless based on a single side-note.

I said that it's just weird for them to comment on something that others don't know about, in fact, if there's something annoying, it's seeing people talking commenting about something they saw privately in public, when nobody in public can see it yet. What's the point of that, what's the point of making topic without actually providing anything to comment on ("I'm making a game with a xyz theme, but I can't really tell you anything about it yet" is not really any information at all, such topics get usually deleted at game-dev forums), so it is to be expected that I would ask for information to post on. People talking about something you can't even see or know anything about is a bit annoying/odd.

I'm just trying to help you. Trust me, I've spent a lot of time on game-dev forums, I have a lot of experience with game development and subsequent publishing and information sharing. You can make a great game, but if you won't sell it to the people right, if you won't catch their interest, you won't have much success.
