hello hackers,
i am a beginner to backtrack 5. I have got bsnl linktop 1x cdma usb modem. i also have its cd. i cannot connect to internet with it. i installed its software and run it but it does no run, in windows when we insert modem it shows a new hardware found and we have to locate insalled drivers manually, but backtrack does not give any such option of found new hardware. please help me!:wacko:

There is a huge thing going over saying backtrack is fake, iv tried to download it and it was some program that reads disks. Give up bro it mite damage your computer.

You must download backtrack from the official site and if you want to connect a 3G dongle on backtrack I have made a one of the easiest tutorials on doing that in backtrack here is the link to my blog.
