Do you use macOS on your intel device?

idk if you already know this but you could install macOS on your intel device. This way you save money buying an actual mac and get the most out of your money (mac costs a lot, but building your own saves a lot). If you haven't heard of it, I suggest you browse this forum tonymacx86 (I am in no way affiliated with this forum) and you'll learn how you can do it.

So back to the question, do you use macOS on your intel device?

As with every OS I test (and run where warranted), I simply use a VM.

My PCs can well and truly handle multiple VMs, so there's no loss In stability or functionality.

Yes, it's cool to run it off a vm but it's also cooler to use it as a main. It's the same as using a mac but on much cooler specs, hhahahah. Merry xmas sir.

I certainly agree that In terms of overall performance and usability, the Host system Is better than the Guest/virtual environment.

That said, If you have the specs, there's very little difference between the two. I'm running 7 VMs simultaneously, 50+ tabs open and still have 14GB available Ram.

Spoiler:

I honestly cannot Identify a drop In performance In any VM. Of course, the Core I7 Quad 7700 Is also a significant contributor.

Yes but It came at a cost of 2,900$. It's a lappy, namely a Predator and the VC (GTX 1070) does the job well.

I've done it once, but then my RAM sticks died an I couldn't boot.
Then they started working again a week later...

I currently have MacOS running on a Macbook, which has an Intel processor. (I also make that Macbook cry with 500 tabs open) You should note that all modern Macs use Intel processors, so the title is somewhat misleading.

That sounds about right. It's ever since PowerPC stopped being used.
