hello i am new i actually need help my accounts are being hacked and things are being taken from my social media pages printed off turnedinto law enforcement i need to figure out how they are getting past security and who is doing it any help would be great they are using it to attack my 16 year old sons personal life please help

Hey there, @sheilaannmarks. Could you please go further into detail as to how they're hacking things?
Your son (or even you) may have downloaded something called a "RAT" or a keylogger; a virus, if you will.
If not, his emails could have been "hacked" by him having a bad security question that anyone could have answered for him. If that happened and he used the same email for his Facebook/accounts in general, said hacker could have just reset all of the passwords and changed them to their liking.

With the information provided, that's all I can really say until you go further into detail.

I would highly recommended that you read my handbook, not just because it's my work. This is something that I think EVERYONE needs to know about if they give a damn about their security/privacy in the cyber-world.

EDIT: I just figured that I should add in that I'll help you beyond the use of just this forum if you're willing to actually discuss your issues with us. And are you communicating through the potentially infected system right now, or a different one?

A. How do you know your accounts are being hacked?

B. You are concerned about stuff on your Social Media accounts being printed off and being reported to the authorities? All I have to say is you must be an idiot to post illegal content on your social media in the first place.

C. I suspect its most likely someone who you have given access to view this illegal content that is reporting it. And it sounds like whoever it is, is doing the right thing.

i am not really a hacker i just need some help i live in rural west virginia and corruption and harrassment of law enforcement is unreal but today it affected my son now i have tried the legal way and ran into road blocks i have a degree in criminal justice and criminology with minors in behavorial science so i am thier nightmare the problem is i am only one not afaid of them they have somehow manged to infitrate my facebook page and copied and altered then printed it off to use against my son in court my son is 16 and he got caught getting high now i dont condone drugs but i am also not so niave to believe teenagers will not try them well now they want to send my son away for 2 months to a diagnostic center i need help figuring out how or who hav\cked my facebook and how or who hacked my email now i did find a clone email almost identical to mine regestered with my first name and a different last name and i need to know how to prove all of this and how i can the stuff that they want to keep from the public such as cover ups lost statements evidence etc any hel anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated

Doesn't it seem a little bit questionable that she switched up the situations for both scenarios? I don't really think "attacking a personal life" and "using it against him in court" are really the same thing... At all...

Not sure the scenarios are mutually exclusive. But yes.

But if it is true she's fucked. Cause cops dont even need access to her facebook account to create evidence.

But that said, If this information was private and obtained through hacking - I would have thought a Criminal Justice major would be aware that evidence obtained through illegal channels is inadmissible in court. In order to obtain that legally they would have required a warrant issued to the service that provided the emails and that would require reasonable justification. Maybe they have a judge in their pocket - But if your lawyer requests the same information and it differs, there would be a case for you there i believe.

As for lost statements, you can have your lawyer subpoena the people that provided the statements to appear in court and testify to their effect. But you're gonna pop in to the police department and just find evidence.

My gut says that youre not a criminal justice major, your son was caught doing something illegal. It was posted publicly. and now you're trying to find some way to cover shit up. Cause I dont know how the police "lost" statements and evidence that said your son was innocent. despite you saying he was caught doing something illegal.

no my son was not caught doing anything illegal what had happened was 9 months ago him and a friend was in a store and they had a surviellance camera showing walking down an aisle talking on his phone then walking over to a table and sitting down then it shows the friend walking down the aisle picking things up putting them down picking them up slipping something in his backpack walking over to where my son was sitting and them both walking out . on the advice of his court appointed attorney he plead guilty was placed on probation he " violated " his probation by being out past his curfew. the probation officer filed for a revocation hearing, at the hearing the prosecuting attorney stands up and says i have a post from his mothers facebook page expressing hatred towards law enforcement it is the courts opinion that jacob be placed for 60 days diagnostic testing . i dont know what post he had or how he had at as he refused to allow me to see it but the judge placed my son onhome confinement until the end of the school term which is may 28th then he is to report to the kuhn center for 60 days now if you google the name gerry hough which is the prosecutuiong attorney i am dealing with sites such as gilmer free press and cal patty press come up and you will see he is not the most honest person in the world. his personal vendetta is against me because my daughter and his daughter were caught underage drinking at a school event and he tried to use his position so his daughter would not face charges well i found a lawyer who was not afraid to go after him and in the end both girls recieved the same treatment no favoritism was shown so now he is going after my son i need to know how he is accessing my personal stuff thank you

and you are right however since i did not see the " facebook post " nor did anyone else in that courtroom other than a police officer named jeremy jenkins i do not know if in fact i was hacked it was illegally gotten or a fake account was made so that is where i am asking your help before i can move forward to prove a crime has been committed and to clarify my degree is behaviorial science with a concentration on criminal justice also if i was full of it i would not of used my real name nor my facebook information all i am asking for is help i am not afraid of these people but i every damn lawyer i approach is so any help will be appreciated now my rudimentary skills i have been able to come up with a bogus email almost identical to mine it is sheila7224@Gmail and mine is sheila7223@Gmail nobody has my passwords as i change them weekly i dont know what was hacked my desktop laptob tablet or phone but phone has been acting up i do believe 2 woman may have attempted to make a fake page and this might be where this is coming from thier names would be amanda hill and jenifer roughton tina foster may also be involved since she is sexually involved with jeremy jenkins if you do not want to help me fine if you do want to help me great but do not bash me for trying to help my son

this is the only law in west virginia regarding internet crime if you need anything more please feel free to contact trooper talkington of the west virginia sex crime division i worked with him extensively to aprehend carrissa hads a 24 yr old woman who posed as a 17 yr old boy and raped a 15 yr old girl though i dont feel i need to prove my identity seeings how i left everything wide open for all of you to see and have access too
