getting static ip address of a router #1
Hi,after hacking a wpa2 passworded wifi I discovered the router is configured to use static ip address, how can I go about this?

RE: getting static ip address of a router #2
You will need to change the router settings through its gateway.

that is the point,I don't have the gateway address because I is static

RE: getting static ip address of a router #4
Static has nothing to do with not knowing the gateway... If you're already on the network a simple "ipconfig" would identify the router gateway, which you can access via your browser.

Wouldn't the router only accept incoming connections from the static ip adresses the owner set for it?

Already cracked the pin i am faced with a roadblock, part of the security measure put in place by the owner is turning off dhcp which means I can not connect if I don't know the ip range

note:he already changed the default ip address which means i cant connect automatically

RE: getting static ip address of a router #8
if its a homerouter you could try the default 192,168.X.X
