found out FedEx New Methods possibly? #1
So, I think I might have found a new method? Not sure if this is already well known. Not to me anyway. So, I had some legit issues with my Logitech mouse so I started the warranty process and they shipped the replacement. But unknowing to me I accidentally provided a wrong street number so when it was shipped, FedEx tracking said it couldn’t be delivered due to incorrect address. But this is where it got interesting FedEx called me a day later and asked for address correction, I gave them the right address but for whatever reason they sent it to a completely different address in my same city but after some digging, I found out they sent to my previous apartment I used to live in a year back. Then I dig deeper and found out FedEx actual sent the package to my previous house because I forgot to update my new address in FedEx delivery manager. I think if the name in the package matches the name in FedEx delivery manager and if its in the same city, they auto default to send it to the address in delivery manager? Not really sure what happened. But figured ill post here so anyone interested can test this method. So, after this I contacted Logitech support again saying, I messed up the address I don’t know what to do. I just made a small mistake like doing 502 instead of 501. I was sobbing to them and they agreed to send me another replacement.

It sounds like FedEx simply neglected to update your address details In their system, hence used their current records (your previous address) as the delivery point.

We receive a change of address quite often at work and unless the details are manually updated, shipping labels are generated against the existing details.
