Your reasons for SE? #1
I’m new to the forum, and I’ve been reading ,ost threads along with mothereds blog. I was interested to know your reasons for SEing.

Do you want nice stuff and don’t want to pay for it?
Do you do it to get products to sell to make money?
Do you do it purely for fun to see what you can get away with?
Something else?

I can't afford to pay for nice stuff.
I have a scammers attitude and do what I have to do to survive.
I do like to see how good my SE skills are.
Sometimes what starts out as a refund that doesn't mean much suddenly turns into almost a life or death insanity in my mind where I have to win.

There are only two things gained from social engineering In the capacity of company manipulation and exploitation - refunds & replacements.

I think my answer Is quite obvious.

The much more level headed and rational answer compared to mine haha.

All of the above. I have a financial target I want to hit and then after that my SE activity will be ramped down to only include number 1. Number 3 will always apply and i'll add to that how great the rush is from in person SE's, especially high value ones.

Idk sometimes I just feel like paying ridiculous price for something that is made by exploiting child labor is f*cked up.

Sometimes I just hold an agenda against massive corporations. They get away with paying little to nothing on taxes, meanwhile the "good" people end up suffering the most.

Corporations want to rob you by shoving their marketing agenda down your throat. Government is so quick at bailing out their own economy, but can't afford to forgive a fraction of student loans (at least in US).

If the playground is not fair for these massive players, why should I play fair?

It’s really sad mom and pops stores are dying out. Opportunity is getting lesser by the day. Just look at todays playground. You have 2-3 shipping companies, 1-5 grocery stores, 1-3 big box retailers, 3 telecom companies, 3 luxury retailers, 3 tech companies and many other industries. While these big players get tax breaks, perks, and many advantages while the rest don’t have a future to compete. It’s almost own nothing be happy. The game has been rigged. None these companies will ever be hit with any sort of anti trust suit. It makes me sad at times because progress hasn’t made for the middle class or working. To live a better life like our forefathers.
