I'd be surprised if nobody has heard of this since it's been in beta for a long time, but Yandere Simulator puts you in the place of a not-so innocent schoolgirl who attends the most generic of Japanese high schools with the objective of stalking a boy and brutally murdering any girl who takes an interest in him, while maintaining your innocent appearance (which means cleaning up copious amounts of blood more often than not). The game itself is about half finished, but the developer has projected the first full release (or at least the ability to complete the game) will come out sometime early this year, so stay tuned.

I heard early 2018 on reddit a while back; nothing official recently, though.

Last time I played it was still pretty buggy, but its' still pretty fun.
