What are your thoughts on this. I have been using both and don't seem to find any difference except the UI. Can someone please tell me the major differences between the two. Thank you.

There are no major differences both are based upon Debian one is likely a bit more lightweight than the other but I'm not familiar enough with bot to say for sure which one (My guess would be xubuntu seeing as it uses an XFCE interface)

But I am talking about the linux mint xfce version. It uses xfce too.

If your main purpose is to use a lightweight system than both of them are fine, really. My guess is that you should just choose the one you like most, keep in mind that mint xfce looks a little bit like windows xp, so it depends on what you like. Both of them has good support so it's really hard to make a distinction.

So you was I missed that, well my original point still stands, they are both based upon the same distro and so there is very little difference between the 2, it just comes down to personal preference as @lady_godiva mentioned.
