i recently got a 72 hour wait time to unlock bootloader of my xiaomi device using mi unlock tool. Is there a way to bypass this wait period and unlock the phone instantly...i have redmi S2

I got a Xiaomi Redmi 5 with unlocked bootloader, I also wanted to bypass the 72h of waiting, but only method I saw was doing some weirdo things with a USB cable I guess, and it would damage the phone, so I decided to wait, it didn't took more than 72h

As far as I know, there's no way to bypass it. I tried rooting my Xiaomi device too thinking the wait period was over but I guess I never properly initiated it or something so when I was ready to root it, I got a bunch of Chinese characters screaming at me which I assumed were saying I need to wait. I didn't root my phone after all since I don't need it anymore and it also deletes everything on your phone.
