I know that it’s not recommended to do EB/missing/wrong item at stores such as Asos/Selfridges/Flannels as they have CCTV on the packing area.

However, how detailed is that CCTV? If I did the wrong order method, claiming to receive someone else’s order (myself being the other customer with a different address/name) and their packing slip, could they tell from the CCTV that the wrong outer postal label had been applied to the package or not - would it zoom in enough on the address?

Obviously they can tell from the CCTV the correct items have been packed, but can they tell the correct address label has been applied?

If they're overhead cameras placed at each packing table, the footage will capture everything - label details Included.

I haven't researched Flannels, but I can confirm that Selfridges and ASOS both have cameras In place.

Honestly, I didn't even know that there were any cameras. I didn't pay that much attention to it, so I don't even know what to tell you or how to help you. I'm sure that CCTV cameras are a useful thing when it comes to safety and life. But I didn't realize that they are used for such purposes as well. We have cameras on the inside of our house so we can monitor all the movement in the house. Recently my wife suggested that we buy ajax motion detectors so we can have this degree of protection in addition to the cameras. Why not?
