Sounds really bad to hear that.
I suggest moving around a bit more, be more 'active'.
I never really sit still
Also a good tip is using a tablet.
Alot of co-workers use this when designing: http://www.wacom.com/us/en/creative
It helps them not to get a 'mouse-arm'.
Also working out ( going to the gym) is something which you should do regularly.
