Winrar Zero Day Exploit Allows Remote Execution of Code #1
Not exactly breaking news as this was patched last year, but here's an article on the exploit.

I myself was not updated to the newest version of winrar, and just updated to be safe. This vulnerability was patched in version 5.70, so if your Winrar verison is below this, I strongly encourage you to update.

Stay safe.

Thanks for warning everyone. I myself updated a long time ago. I think I'm running a cracked version on 5.77.

I'm running the latest version of 5.80, so I'm unaffected by this.

Thanks for making our community aware.

Resource Hacker certainly does the job well.

The nag screen has been around for as long as I can remember- I'd say since the late 90s, or early 2000.
