Will UPS, FedEx or USPS deliver to a house with a "for sale" sign? #1
What if there are also no cars in the driveway? I have an order coming in two days and I just got back from checking the house out. It is all clear, no furniture inside and it has a for sale sign. Will I need to remove this at night or will they deliver?

FedEx and UPS , as well as USPS they just don't her job , if a package has an address they drop it at that address , a for sale sign isn't going to make a delivery person think anything but maybe there's temp renters z maybe the real estate agent ordered something there ... Now maybe if you keep having packages to that for sale address with different names eventually they may think something but even then they deliver hundreds of packs a day they will soon forget about it if it did cross thier mind.

Someone on a different forum told me that USPS has a system that instructs them to not even attempt delivery at houses that are forclosed, since they are operated by the government. Regardless I'm going to head over to my drop location in a few days and pick it up if its there.

Now forclosure could be some technicality I'm not sure ,it's possible usps does have a policy, however I don't think it would be strictly enforced. I usually use new builds that are fresh on the market , only thing I worry about is the realtor stopping by to do a showing before I'm able to pick up my packs.... Just happened actually lol , lucky them got a free top of the line Kuerig machine and a KitchenAid mixer ... Totally my fault for being lazy and not grabbing then when I could . :/....

They should. When my dad sold his old house he had a sign up saying it was for sale and he still got packages.

I don't really see the point of them not delivering... But can't you just call to check?

Lucky for me, there's a whole block of new houses built this year right next to where I live. I could go to town with these houses if everything goes well.
