I know @Oni streams on Twitch occasionally, and I was happy to learn that OBS is now on Linux so I'll probably start soon enough. Does anyone else stream? If so, what do you play and what's your channel?

I used to stream League a few years ago (I was terrible, videos are gone), but now I'll probably be doing Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+, CS:GO, and maybe some Stardew Valley.

If there's enough of us, maybe we could make an SL team, too.

I used to stream about four months back semi-regularly as my upload speed improved a good bit but ended up killing off the account to make a new one. Usually I'd stream speedrunning - Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Lawnmower Man, Paper Mario, and a bit of Tetris: The Grand Master 1/2 - but I'd occasionally thow in a bit of Guiter Hero 3/Rock Band, CS:GO, and Quake 3.

The new channel is completely dead, but I plan to start it up again sometime soon.

Never have. Never will. The whole concept is kind of weird. Why would you want to watch people play games, let alone allow them to watch you? I know you can make money if you gather a following but I have other, less creepy methods for that.

In a lot of cases, watching streamers is almost like watching an actual sports game instead of playing yourself.
Maybe you play it and watch to learn new things or see the people who quite literally make a living off of it; maybe you don't and enjoy viewing it anyway for any number of reasons.

I want to get into streaming but I don't have the right equipment yet, I need a slightly better PC and I need my mic back since my turtle beach headset is complete shit.
