Who has successfuly returned wrong item to Amazon? 11-17-2019, 12:09 PM

I'm just wondering why everyone does DNA with Amazon, specialy with high priced items. Is that because DNA is more effective with expensive Amazon items?
Why not playing an equally convincing method such as claiming wrong item received and returning something else of the same weight for a full refund?

I've done it before. 3 times with Amazon and I've been successful everytime.
Tips: Buy a scale because some items are slightly off if you go by Amazon's weight. Generally they are on point but just to be sure.
Call right after receiving the package. You want to make it seem like you just received the package and you're frustrated that you got the wrong item.
They may or may not do an internal investigation (Happened to me once). If the weight of both items was almost the same weight, you'll be okay.
Buy the other item from another account that's not linked to you in any way. (IP address, name, phone, credit card. You know the drill)
Good luck.
