Cause im sick of 8.1, my Hard drive is completely junk and I cant set it back to factory settings since I upgraded from 8 to 8.1 through the store.

You can't set your HDD into factory settings?
Or did you mean Windows?

I think there's a option to reset windows, not sure though. (I did something like that about a half an year ago)

Windows (which basically completely wipes everything except the OS from the HDD) and I know the option but it doesnt work if you upgraded from 8 to 8.1 through the Windows store.

I updated from 8 to 8.1 from the store and it worked for me.

You could download Ubuntu on a USB flashdrive, boot it, format the HDD that has Windows on it, install Windows 8 again and update 8.1

I will eventually I have 8.1 on a USB though, Im just too lazy to insert it and dont want to install the update while I get a request for a service.
