So this thread is for all the smokers out there!

I popped my last lighter yesterday because it was low on gas and the flint ran out, so today I need a cig and was racking my brain trying to figure out how to light it. I was first of all going to try to use my kettle, see if the side got hot enough to light my cig, but I knew this wasn't going to work. While boiling the kettle I looked at my toaster, and thought I'd try that as the side panels that heat up the toast are quite exposed, and surely enough, it worked!

I cancelled the boil on the kettle about half way through and walked off with a nice, lit cigarette!

If you ever get stuck without a lighter, try it yourself, but be careful not to push too hard or the metal coil could break, this is rather dangerous too! Desperate times call for desperate measures.

I can quit any time I want. I don't have urges that most people get for some reason. I choose to smoke. I like it.
