What you should know about floating-point arithmetic #1
I'm working on a pretty big project at the moment, and the manipulation of floating point numbers is quite important therein so I set out to find a good whitepaper on the quirks of floating point arithmetic and storage in computers. As is detailed there aren't many formal papers on the subject, so this is definitely something to read if you're interested in learning how floating point really works.

don't have much in the first place, who feel the new currents and ride them the farthest.

Son of a gun, you're bringing back memories of computer architecture class. There was a point in time where this made sense to me, sucks that it looks like a different language now.

Quote:You may read about taylor series.
the problem is how the machine try to aproximate numbers that are so large and as the same way so small,
this is very related with buffer overflow issues.

That was a great read. Although I do not use floating point numbers to a huge extent, it was still interesting information.
