I think I started with batch and than VBScript, but it was so limited (never got deep into VBScript) but after that I learned VB.NET than HTML and python (never finished python) and now we are learning JavaScript on school.
Some other random languages like xml and so, but I didn't fully learn those.
(Yes, I know, HTML and XML are not programming languages but markup languages. I just wanted to include them.)

Basic HTML and CSS was what we learnt back in middle school. Programming was completely new from what we had studied earlier.

I have a group of friends who are part of my school's newly founded Code Club, and I our teacher is wanting us to do HTML and JS, and um...I don't really like Js, anyways. What do you think I should recommend to them to study on their time. I said to begin, Python, after that, Java or C++.
What do you think I should say.
