Hey all.

Im kinda new into the hacking world, and i have seen a linux OS has just been released a few days ago called backtrack 5, but it is a special OS for security and hacking?

What OS would be best to use to hack with? I have tried to other linux OS's but i wasn't really suprised :S

But i want help with this two questions:

1. What is BackTrack 5
2. What OS would be best to hack with?

Maaaan ! :SS.. OS doesnt make hacker, or some tools, hacker make own tools and hack with them !! Start learning something about PRotocols and Ports... Thats the basis.. Backtrack 5 is Linux OS who have a lot of tools for pentestng and breaking security. BAsicly it is OS for trying break security of one system...

Still i can't hand over to BT , coz of that damn problem ,
can't connect to Internet via Dongle Connection :rip:

Man i dont know what to say to you. I can do anything until i see the problem.. Wai, try to download BT 5 R1 maybe bug is fixed ?

dude if u have a car &u dont know how to drive. then think what will use of that car????u should learn how to drive car..so same here u have bt will not only make u hacker..bt is for pentesting..os.. .i will advice ufirst go to ubuntu &learn abought linux..then come ot bt..comman is more important..read book..send more time...

There are lots of tutorials online to help you understand the penetration testing tools, and how to use them. Backtrack is simply a Linux distro that comes pre-compiled with many of these tools!
