Well, shit happens? from 2015 to 2019.

Code Editor? Depends on what I do, VS for C languages, VSC for React or Website, Jetbrains IDEA for Java.

vscode is best imo, large amounts of extensions and integrated terminal, also nice debugging tools.

Notepadqq. I use Linux and Notepad++ has not been compiled for Linux, but Notepadqq is a good alternative. I used to use Atom text editor by Github, but it being based on Electron slowed my computer down a lot. Had to get rid of it
