That's a load of garbage.

She'd have neither the time nor the Inclination to contact Smeg. Moreover, why would the manufacturer go against what's written In their very own user manual? As you can see and as per my previous post, the product Is susceptible to catching fire, hence It definitely has the potential to cause personal Injury, thereby warrant Its disposal.

I wish this was my SE - I'd hammer her to the point of obtaining a written apology from the general manager.

Another useless reply.

She's requested two options for a reason - to assess the claim with the Intention to resolve It by way of a refund or replacement, and that's where It currently stands.

Many companies operate as such, but that's on the grounds It was disposed of by (for example) the fire department - who can provide the report when they documented the Incident.

If you threw It In the trash yourself, the POD cannot be done.

Use the other alternative.

Wish I read the user's manual. I said that a substance leaked from the mixer and that I used tissue to clean it but it burnt through the tissue and my hand leaving a scar (got photoshop). Lesson to me to take more time with SE's and not rush

With what I have just said in my previous reply. Do you still believe she wants the proof to offer me a refund or replacement?

Not to worry.

I always mention the Importance of "researching" prior to hitting the SE, and this Is a prime example of why It must be done. Where does your claim currently stand?
