Has anyone successfully refunded Wayfair with an FTID after the auto scan refund failed ?

I've read in one group that they can disable 'on scan' refunds for certain items and this is what has happened in my case. I was able to generate the return no problem (wasn't referred to the Executive Resolution Team). The FTID has now been delivered and not sure what my chances of getting a refund if I wait a couple of weeks?

They're big items, but have been shipped as small parcel items and not the type of item you'd expect they'd want to flag either.

Any advice/experience would be welcome ?

If delivered i would say you should be fine - just contact soon and ask what the delay is in getting your refund

I had the same a few weeks ago. Had a couple of items refunded on scan, but they were small items. Then with my next order 1 of the 4 items was missing and was actually contacted by an account manager for a genuine partial. They accepted it was their fault and refunded missing item. I then said I wasn't happy anymore and wanted to return the rest, and they arranged a collection. I managed to switch it to a drop off on my account and print new label etc. There was no refund on scan but I did get it a couple of days later without chasing it up. I then made an online order and got an email 10 mins later saying they had cancelled my order and I was banned from making any future ones with them. Seems if they have any suspicions they stop the refund on scan, which also made me think that maybe there is a member from the team actively tracking returns as they are dropped off and then processing the refund? Hopefully you'll get yours as well though, but idk I've never done it with larger items.

The other items you returned were FTIDs ? Or legit ?

I have had the ERT involved on another order before, all completely legit, but I do wonder if my account is now marked or linked to them forever ! So no more scans

All FTIDs. They were already onto me after my third order in 3 weeks.. I was unstoppable! Managed to rinse them of £1,000 before they finally banned me though lol. Someone on here though gave me tips on how to re-order on a new account, gonna try it out once I'm off their radar a bit.

Ok thanks, I'll leave it until the end of the week then and see if they're manually updating tracking or something. I'm not sure the CS reps will refund over live chat/on the phone as I think they are performance measured against refunds !

Your situation is exactly the same as mine - on scan refund, ERT involved in legit refund, now another refund attempt. Hopefully mine will just land in a few days.
