Wayfair DAMAGED (Successful) #1
New to SE - Think I found my way around things.
I've been reading that some people are experiencing issues with hitting Wayfair.

In the past week i've done :
-1x 380$ Bed Frame : DAMAGED ITEM - No proof / pictures needed - Live Chat : Told them the side panel were broken, they offered a replacement which I politely declined, told them the frame was for one of my ''rental properties'' and replacement would take too long to get here... refunded got the funds 24 hours after.

-1x 700$ TV Stand ; DAMAGED ITEM - Picture requested - Live Chat : Told them that the every panel was defective : no holes to put the screws (I hinted that it might've been a manufacturing problem...) - With the picture request, I took a picture of one of the panels, content-awared the holes in PS to make it look like there's really no holes... Instant refund.

Advice : If they ask you if the furniture is damaged, say yes. Do not provide details unless asked (corners chipped, planks bended, use your brain).
Wayfair does not want damaged furniture back, they will request you to ''dispose'' of the item.

I have another (legit) account I used during COVID to furnish my old place, past purchase history around 15-20k.
I'll be ordering a 4000$ couch and will try to pull a damaged item again.

@mothered First time writing a thread. Thoughts?

I had a $499 umbrella that had slight cosmetic damage, years ago, before I really went all in on SE. I talked to wayfair support and exaggerated things a little, to get a partial refund. Imagine Mt surprise when they said they'd refund the whole thing and let me keep it. Wild stuff. Hearing this makes me want to try them again. I wonder how they handle DNA, too.

Customer service is solid. Nothing to add. - I'm also curious, I've had a delivery with UPS and the other with Purolator. I'll actually order something right now and try DNA just to see if their CS still prioritizing customers first.

Appreciate it.
I never had a single problem with Damaged claims, maybe due to my (somewhat) OK skills in Photoshop.
Think i'll give a shot to perfumes and mirrors next.

Going to try a DNA, ($549) will pivot to a damaged claim after "box showing up late by a few days" if they don't go for the former.

Please let us know how it goes. I haven't tried DNA Wayfair, but to be honest, I have never seen / signed / heard a knock by any delivery agent when it comes to furniture. They just dump it - Hopefully it's the same for you.
