Not sure if I can instant a GE electric stovetop from wayfair but do you think calling them and saying damage on arrival would work like saying the package was wet and ripped apart plus playing with the reps emotions.

I bought the exact same model stovetop as the one I have currently have which is broken so I was thinking if they asked anything I could show them the stovetop doesn't work.
