UPS dropped the package at my door, no signature, no nothing, just walked away. So no problem. Exchanged a few very simple emails with arcteryx, and they just sent me one saying they're dispatching another same jacket for free to me. So double dip success. I guess it helps that they also have a rep for having fairly outstanding customer service.
P.S if the first initial jacket which I claimed warranty on, happened to have been 'liberated' from one of their stores, without payment, hypothetically, obviously, would this be a triple dip?
How hard was the initial SE
That depends on your skillset and what you define as hard. Personally it was on an intermediate level for me. All it took was a small distraction, some flirting, sleight of hand and a strong 15k Gauss magnet.
@Filament from this particular SE endeavour I have a total of 3 yes (assuming everything goes well and j get the DNA replacement, as I only got the email last night saying they'll send me it). I have more arcteryx in my collection though, from other adventures..
Nice

Magnet to pull off the security tag?
Unfortunately, I have to retire from SE.

Correct. Also be vigilant of very well hidden RFID stickers. Often found as stickers on the labels, both inside and outside of garments. Sometimes it's even a clear sticker inside pockets/zip liners etc, so the colour of the garment can be seen through the clear sticker, making it almost invisible. This tends to only be on high end garments however.

Wasn't even aware that was a thing. Looks like you have it down haha
I'm not looking to "liberate" stores, but good to know. Thanks.
