No method is "instant" and you should be alright using your own info but if it can be avoided it should.

The way Instant refunds generally work, Is when the refund Itself Is processed on scan, meaning they assume you're sending the Item via Its tracking details and that's enough to satisfy the return & transaction - even though the company has yet to receive the goods.

It's poor management by the company/service who's handling the consignment.

I just wanna make some quick money, so I was thinking an apple product from Walmart, maybe I could dip. I'll end up selling the products for cash. The thing is I really don't wanna have to use a burner/prepaid crd/drop... I'm just concerned about doing this under my own name crd and addy. It would just be a few $500 orders. Am I being to paranoid? Should I just order to my place?

Ps.. I don't even care about a chargeback or whatever. I'm more fearful or legal action in the future for committing fraud under my own info

Treat It as such by manipulating It accordingly, and you'll be fine.

The objective Is to receive a refund on scan (before the company receives the goods), so any method that circumvents the return will suffice.

When SEing, I always recommend to opt for a method/service that you're comfortable with, so If a refunder gives you peace of mind, then go for It.

I can't speak for others, namely how they perform their SEs and the precautionary measures (If any) they have In place.

Companies can catch on at any given moment, so It's of the utmost Importance to anonymize and strategically plan each and every SE.
