Virus Scan for file upload #1
Hello dear AF members and Admin!

In my opinion, It would be good to force users to scan their stuff on a virus scanner site. There would be 2 categories:

R.A.T.s, Crypters, Server-client like tools:

-> Users should scan it with ElementScanner which doesn't save and send the files for AV companies. A hash code would be helpful to get too.

All other tools

-> Users should scan it on virus total. If the tool is not a R.A.T., not a crypter and not server-client type tool, then there is no reason to avoid VirusTotal.

What do you think? I've seen many tools in Hacking Tools section and I so miss the scan results.

Scanning hacking tools is stupid they will obviously show up as viruses that's what sandboxie is for.

I apologise, but you're partly wrong. I agree with Sandboxie, although I hope you know It's possible to trick out.

They won't show up as viruses if they don't use server-client system and doesn't contains any trojans or parts which are dangerous for OS. You know, an experienced user can get to know alot from those informations even if It's false positive.

False positives are pretty obvious sometimes. Not a false positive, but my computer will delete my hack tools if its not off. It says reason: malice producer or some shit like that.
