Hello! My monitor has this feature Called Video OverDrive. Basically, it sends more power to the pixels, making them switch faster (thus lowering the ms response delay). This is very neat because I play CS:GO in 4K and the original response delay (in ms) was about 7. Now, with Video OverDrive, this cuts the response delay in about half. If I had faster internet, I would upload some clips of me with the Deagle, because I'm pretty good with the Deagle.

OT: More power = Faster refresh rate? I'd imagine that'd shorten your monitor's life span. Someone correct me on this.

Yeah, it says that it could shorten the life span. But, I don't care though.
