So I’ve ordered an Apple Watch from very.co.uk which required a signature. It got delivered while I was at work and the signature was forged by Royal Mail. I’ve rang very for a DNA who said they wouldn’t help but I kept going till they said they will pass it on to their special investigation team who will come to my house and check cameras and neighbours. Anyone delt with this before?

never even heard of the Very special investigations team.

who's cameras are they going to be viewing? they surely would need a warrant to access any public cameras and can't exactly demand to see any neighbours ones either

Sounds like a scare tactic, I told them to send them round. Very seem to be hard work tho probs won’t try them again

Yeah it does. Kinda tempted to hit them for a Switch OLED now just to see what they say 😂

They use Yodel for deliveries where I live

it's not trespassing or harassment. the driver/postman was obviously asked to investigate why it's been reported as not delivered. I always find it very hard to DNA anything from RM especially as they aren't allowed to leave packages with neighbours or at the front door. I'm pretty sure they legally need to give it to someone in the property or they take it back to the post office for you to collect

if it's going to fall on his shoulders then he 100% will ask. as I said before, they can't leave things with neighbours or on the doorstep. it's not like he doesn't know what your address is, he's there almost daily.
