RE: VPN not secure ? #21
The fbi have control over some Tor exit nodes sure. Will they have them all? Fuck no. New ones pop up and old ones go down constantly. What are the odds that your placed in a compromised node? Very slim.

Most people who say vpns don't work blah blah use free ones that are not meant for privacy but are meant to be work arounds for blocked content.

Using a private VPN can be beneficial since you have control over everything but also has a downside because your the only one on it which can be traced back to you to an extent.

If you do some real research your self you can see there are a few vpn companies out there that actually support and care about privacy.

If your worried about exit nodes then stack a vpn with tor and add a little more security to it.

Your not suppose to be on tor for hours at a time. I log off and log back in every 30 minutes or so, so my route gets redirected every time. smartest way to use it. Im assuming half of you probably log into personal accounts such as FB, Twitter ect from your pc on tor which right there defeats the purpose of anonymity.
