Using a refunded help #1
Hi I am new to the scene and was about to use a refunder but thought I would ask on here first.

So I told a refunder I wanted an easy item which I can sell to refund - and to my surprise he recommended refunding an iPhone XS via FTID 5 for me from a retailer other than Amazon. This surprised me since I had an aged legit Amazon account he could’ve used.

Now I have heard of the basic FTID method but what is FTID 5?

Also, why does he not want to do it on Amazon even though I have a legit account?

I wanted a simple easy refund so want to know if this sounds too risky and suspicious. Please let me know

Hi there!

4 & 5 are literally just memes that boxers have come with over the past few months. There are a TON of different versions of it.

4 Is basically you putting a print flyer on one side of a padded envelope and putting a label edited with FTID3 on the other side. All this does is increase the likelihood of the target company to deem the mailer you send out as spam and tossing it to the side once it has been unloaded from the truck.

The two versions of 5 that I've seen involve adding an unreadable QR code to the label (not aware of any US based companies that even utilize QR) and one that's just straight up boxing with matching weight.

The method that they have suggested to you depends on the SEr you've entrusted.
Perhaps that SEr is confident with the FTID5 (Which I don't know what it means either, I know the method just up to the FTID3)

Anyway the answer of your question is: yes, you could use more "easy" and less risky methods for your SE.

Hi! Thanks for the reply! - I mean these ftid methods sound risky to me due to the potential physical evidence left behind, would you say they are worth the risk?
Or would you recommend me to try a dna or eb on my own aged Amazon account as being safer?

Hi thanks! Would you say doing an dna or eb on my own Amazon account is safer?
And would this be fine with a phone or not?

Always first DNA, then if for some reason you can't, then try missing item.

No, it won't be neither blocked nor blacklisted.

Did you ask him?

Your account Is In good standing, so there's no Issue with using It.

First and foremost, what's the weight of the Item?

He said ftid is a bit risky on Amazon and better on the other site.

The weight of package will be something like 1.2-1.5 pounds it’s a smartphone.

Also, Amazon require a one time password on delivery so I guess dna out of questions? Any advice or is this a no go?

That doesn't surprise me with the flawed so-called FTID method.

Disregard the DNA.

It's too heavy for the missing Item method, so the wrong Item received or sealed box method are both well-suited.
