Using Different Methods #1
Hey, what's up guys, I have a question that you guys can probably answer, so here it is.

So when it comes to Amazon refunding, what are the two most used methods used?

And when should the method 'DNA' be used? Same goes for the 'Item is missing from box'.

There are no hard and fast rules- the method Is "always" based on the Item.

For Instance, you cannot use the "missing Item" method on an Item that weighs 1kg, nor box the company by returning a monitor.

If it was Air pods, what method would be best?

The pods weigh 4 grams, and the charging case at 38 grams. The missing Item method Is Ideal.

I successfully refunded the Air pods using the missing item method. What items would be used as a 'DNA' method?

Good work with the AirPods- the missing Item method works on almost every occasion.

In terms of the DNA, given It's more so carrier-based and considered a universal method, any Item Is suited. That said, It comes to good use for heavy/bulky Items that cannot be SEd with traditional methods, such as boxing and partial/missing Item.

Just to ask, so this missing item, is just saying the items are missing out of the packaging?

Correct.

You've received the package, however upon opening the "box", the Item was missing.

In that case, what is the threshold for "missing items" method to fail? I'd assume it varies from company to company, but generally I'm guessing anything under 1kg should work and anything over is more likely to fail?

Also in response to this, I feel like this isn't entirely accurate. Missing item has worked for me on numerous occasions with the weight being completely off. You say that you cannot use the missing item method on something that weighs over 1kg. I'd say attempting this method for things over 1kg can be proved as a false claim by the company, hence the refund cannot guarantee success. However, there are several companies who will not even verify the weight of the package and will refund simply out of good will. For example, I've done a £800 zalando partial (stuff I claimed was missing was about 15kg and the whole package weighed about 20kg). The refund was still successful and only took 2 days.
