Is it possible to hack wifi on an iPhone or android tablet ? If so how?

Is It anonymity you're after, or the actual tool(s) required to hack a Wi-Fi AP via the devices mentioned?

I dont have internet. I want to use my neighbors wifi undetected. But I don't know how to get the pass key.

Both. I want to anonymously use their internet. How do I get the password and other info to do it?

Anonymity Is not an Issue. A VPN will simply do the job or for added protection, run a VPN alongside Tor.

What encryption type Is It? WEP or WPA/WPA2?

I'm not sure atm. I'm assuming they turn it off at night . How do you do hack the encryption for them all for future reference or links?

Knowing the type of encryption, makes all the difference- as the methodologies used are not the same from one to the other.

It takes me literally 10 minutes to crack WEP (anyone can do It, It's very weak). WPA/WPA2 Is a little more difficult, and there are a few options available. I cannot possibly document a tutorial (no time), so here's a site that provides step-by-step guides with supported videos:
