In my previous thread, I said I will update you(plural) with the results.

I have tried 2 other services today. which is Deliveroo and e肚仔

I don't know much about deliveroo and its the first time using it, let alone refunding
e肚仔 is a local service, by the new producer HK01



What I ordered:
Deliveroo- A large Beef rice pot from Yoshinoya - $75
e肚仔 - a strawberry tea from november - also $75


Summary: Failed on both


Deliveroo- So approx 30 mins after collecting the food, which is also when it is marked as delivered, I called deliveroo customer support. They said they trust the delivery person more than me since I am from a new account, so they rejected.

e肚仔 - No customer support at all. I used the in-app live chat, and waited for 5 mins, no agents are available. Tried phoning them and IT WENT INTO VOICEMAIL. So I tried to email them, but can't find an address.
Should have checked that before


But concluding, I think the best bet for free food services, similar to this, is just sticking with ubereats, and it's seamless refund process.

Yes I agree, as this would open them up to a lawsuit if they didn't compensate, and the integrity of the delivery driver isn't questioned.

Once I have abused ubereats more, until I get banned(like my last account) I will try that.
But ubereats DNA is the easiest.
In fact, I have done another refund just now, and it only took me 3 clicks

If you've Identified the DNA as a working method against the said company, by all means take that route.

Good work with your recent refund- It doesn't get much easier than 3 clicks.

I've successfully managed to get around deliverdoo here in Australia where it's used quite frequently, as many have mentioned already I went along the lines of my children are now extremely upset/ill which caused them to freak out a little bit and immediately refund my money. The drivers are usually pretty dead on with deliveries so I'd say the DNA method probably isn't the strongest of methods.

Never target the driver, more the food and you'll succeed more.

deliveroo is easy well for uk peeps anyway. also your se failed as they said it was a new acc. I also saw your order was 75 $. You got to make some legit orders first then when you do the se say the food was cold/undercooked or u felt ill. also regardless or currency i'd say don't go over 50 (my opinion) The person who told me how to do it said play it safe. do 3-4 legit orders then so a se one. this way you can do it for a long time. play the long game i guess.
