URGENT - Amazon reply 4 monts later about a return

I just received a new email, I really don't understand what they are talking about... They tell me that the refund for the item I returned is not possible for the moment while the previous email they told me that they would charge me again if I didn't send them the real product. And they tell me that the refund is not possible when it has been done for more than 4 months... I really don't understand. I don't know what to do now. Should I answer? Or not to say anything since they don't talk about debiting me again?
I put you anyway their email below:

At this time, we are unable to issue refunds for items you returned to Amazon.

Sounds like they're just messing up themselves
In fact, if they "refuse" to refund you, while they already did, voids the whole rebilling thing as they don't even think you got the money
Not sure if you could just try dumping the whole thing and nothing will happen, or if you should press on for more infos

Weird Is an understatement.

Their reply below, Is very poor and quite embarrassing If they believe It justifies their decision. "we are unable to Issue refunds"? It tells you absolutely nothing, so ask them to clearly explain themselves.

Pinpointing is next to zero, but since this forum is open for public eyes without even registration or logging in, it really doesnt help SE community.
I would recommend making this forum private, letting only logged in people see posts, now all posts are visible to anyone using google.

When crafted and applied to appear as though It's a legit claim by leaving no room for error, It's Impossible for representatives and the like to differentiate between an SE and the real deal. Take It from someone who's been In the scene for 35+ years - the methods that I've personally titled and formulated (to name a few) "the sealed box", "disposed of the faulty Item", "missing Item manufacturer error" are still going strong to date, and will continue to follow the same path.

And yet again, why is it public to not logged in users? Is there a reason?
And many methods "got patched", and the main reason is anyone is using them for "small profit" and "wrongly".

You can just keep denying and asking them to clarify and that you have no knowledge of this whatsoever
