company received empty box and started a UPS claim. UPS approved claim and rep said funds are on way to company. Company has had awful communication and once I called in said ticket is escalated to claims dept.

Item is 2500. I honestly don’t want to do this anymore and don’t care the outcome. I’m curious the probably of something going wrong at this point such as legal actions, etc.
do companies have their own say after UPS approved claim?

It just takes time sometime. if the claim is approved that is it.

The company should refund you. That is what insurance is for.
