It's been years since I did a DNA so I decided to do one but had some questions because I never received email follow ups before

price range 200-400 and few days later

UPS sent an email asking if I checked with neighbors, around house etc, replacement order tracking
then another saying they would search for the package

I'm sure this is some new standard that's been implemented sometime in the last 10 years. This address is not mine but someone else, is it likely when they say they're searching for the package that they'll knock on the door and ask?

Searching for the package sounds like an internal search, such as in their warehouses. It means they're conducting an investigation.

If they knock on the door you are not obliged to answer. However if you do answer just stick to your guns and say you don't have it.

They're obviously aware that It's been dispatched with tracking, so they're doing an external Investigation.

"Searching for the package", Involves both cross-checking the carrier's records and asking you to check your surroundings - neighbors, your house etc. It's part of protocol, hence there's no cause for concern.
