Ask them why you need a police report. The delivery company not successfully delivering your package is not a police matter and the police might not even give you a case number. If they are adamant on the report, you can do one.

UPDATE: Woke up to an email saying it was lost in delivery after a career investigation, I didn’t need to submit anything, success, thank you for your help bro I appreciate it! Offered a replacement or refnd.

£380, I had to sign, evidently didn’t prove anything with UPS
