And no I'd recommend buying the item from Amazon but on another account and shipped to another address ( or post office etc..). There's a thread currently in progress I believe where Amazon caught them sending an item from another shop despite them selling it.(03-09-2019, 09:14 PM)Biglad465 Wrote:(03-09-2019, 08:48 PM)Checkpoint Wrote: I would like a Nintendo Switch.
Was thinking about doing like last time: empty box method. I don't know if I was just lucky though, a simple weight check with courier would fuck me up. They didn't last time but they could do it this time.
Maybe claim wrong item. I would swap the switch for something like a box of washing machine soap and send it back to them. What can Amazon do to check things and deny the refund?
Empty box won't work this time , they check weight all the time in my experience. Actually not sure how wrong item would work in this case:
"Sold by another company but shipped by Amazon"
Wrong item should work but I'd wait for answers from another member.
Thanks for the reply anyway.
Looking a bit better, I actually found the listing where it's sold & shipped by amazon. It was just buired under other sellers.
I was thinking about this: in the case of "wrong item" method, could I buy the "incorrect" item (that I would swap) at my local supermarket for example?
In short : buy it from Amazon , just don't incriminate yourself by letting them link that item being shipped to your account / address.
