ok so most of what i've seen on this category is the standard refund methods. BUTTTTTT !!!!
(not sure if theres already been a post on this im new xd)
i recently went down this best buy recall list rabbit hole and might i say if ur just seing for profit this is quite the gold mine
not to mention i lowkey feel like this is way less risky than claiming dna on an amazon account 5 times in a row lmao

so basically there's thousands of recalls every year some of which are on big ticket items like air fryers, smart watches, treadmills, ect.
even better most companies that recall said items will give out refunds for said items

now ive found that most companies will give out the refund and /or replacement with little to no proof of u even owning that product
but i have stumbled on a few that require u to send the item back to them before they issue the refund but that shouldn't be that hard to get around

AND YES IVE TESTED THIS OUT AND IT WORKS

STEP 1: pick recall
STEP 2: file recall claim / contact company about recalled product
STEP 3: bs ur way through what ever the company requires for them to issue refund
STEP 4: revel in ur new found riches

but i can say this works for the USA/Canada

You know what, a store recently sent me an email about a recall and I contacted the company and they're offering a replacement item or you can return it to store for a full refund regardless when you bought it. I thought about this being a nice area to hit. Thanks for reminding me and making this post.

I think it's a good idea. I guess in most cases you have to return the product unless you have excuses/techniques to get around this.

Done this a few times but hard to find big ticket recalls nowadays. only way to find them is if you get an email from something you ordered etc hence you need groups of people looking for them etc tbh. I'd be interested in doing more if anyone has some they want to split since they've done it too much.
